Keeping Up

I know, I know....I have not been posting messages as much as I would like too! I am finishing up the school year and things have just been busy! 5 days of school left for me!!
The Twins are doing well and I am growing and growing. Below are pictures that were taken 3 weeks apart. The one on the left was taken 5 days before we knew there were twins on April 30th and the one on the right was taken on May 21st.



We have put together both cribs as well as the dresser. We are waiting to decide on a theme for the nursery until we know the sex of the babies. Below are a few pictures.




























We have an ultrasound in a couple weeks to find out the sex but we are waiting until the shower on June 27th to announce the exciting news! When we thought that there was only 1 BABY, we were not going to find out the sex. Since finding out there are 2...we thought we would need to find out to prepare....as much as we can... So we thought that a fun way to announce it, would be at the shower! I know it is going to be hard to wait that long...but just think, if there was only 1, you would of had to wait until September!

Below is a picture of the BIG BROTHER!!! We just keep telling him that he has no idea how his life is going to change!! ha ha!!

Starting to set in....

I still think Ethan and I are in shock but it is starting to set in!

We have another doctor's appointment 2 weeks from tomorrow on May 25th. We already have a long list of questions. Ethan bought me a Twins book for Mother's Day and so did my sister and brother-in-law. So we have both been reading and learning a lot of interesting things.

I am sure they will schedule an ultrasound after we go back on May 25th. We plan to share the news of the sex at our June 27th shower.

Half way there....

This is one picture that I have of my belly. It is not that great so I will post more in a few days.

We are half way through the pregnancy. Although the morning sickness was horrible, it has gone by very quickly! I am so glad to be at a point where I feel like myself again!

We had the Baby's Room painted today. We went neutral and painted it yellow. It looks great with the trim in the room.

We have the ultrasound on Wednesday. We are very excited and do not plan on finding out the gender.

Twins?? Most likely not!!

Of course everyone always says "Maybe you're having twins." With Ethan's dad being an identical twin, the thought has crossed our mind a time or two.

We had a doctor's appointment today. I am 19 weeks pregnant and measured at 21 which is normal. The doctor said if there were twins I would most likely measure 24 or 25.

The ultrasound is next Wednesday afternoon so we will know for sure if there are one, two or even three babies in there!! ha ha!!

I am still trying to convince Ethan to let the sex be a surprise! I am pretty sure I will win that battle! (but don't tell him that)

Welcome

Welcome to our blog! We thought that this would be a great way to keep everyone up to date with the growth of our baby.

We found out we were pregnant in January. We were both very shocked but very excited. Ethan was at work when I took the first one pregnancy test. He had plans to go to the YMCA to work out but I convinced him to come home. I put the test in the bathroom for him to discover! He was surprised to say the least!

A couple of days and pregnancy tests later, we shared the news with our parents. I made a bib for Rowdy that said, "I'm going to be a big brother" We took Rowdy to Heather's parents house to share the news. We then sent a picture via e-mail to Ethan's parents. I think we surprised them all!
