Portland

Well we had a great time in Portland! We did pretty well on the plane ride. We really just wanted to get down and crawl. It was awesome to meet our Uncle Andy and Aunt Amber. We were also excited to see our Nana and Grandpa again.

We had many adventures! We went to the Zoo, the Park (a few times), we saw a waterfall and we went on many hikes! We also went shopping and had lunch out!

We are now back home enjoying our summer with Mommy. This weekend Mommy starts her classes in Indy. For the next 6 Saturdays, we will be home all day with Daddy. We can't wait!

We're leaving...

on a jet plane...don't know when we'll be back again! We leave tomorrow to go and see our Nana and Grandpa in Portland. We will also get to meet our Uncle Andy and Aunt Amber for the first time too! We are so excited! We promise we will try to try to be good on the plane!!

Since Sunday is Father's Day we made a surprise for Daddy while he was work!

We each held a letter to spell out the word "Daddy" and then we put them in a frame for Daddy to take to work! We even included Rowdy...

Although we had to take A LOT of pictures...we had fun! Thanks to Mommy's friends Martha and Breinne for their help too! :)

10 months old

We will be 10 months old tomorrow...that means in 2 months we will be 1 year old!! Oh my!! We are moving all over the place. We do not like to be held and we pull up to everything! We pretty much do not stop! We still only have 2 teeth each. Mommy and Daddy think we will have another one soon...but they have been saying that for months. We got our second tooth in March so you would think by now we would have more!

We are eating real food now...as opposed to fake! ha ha! We are not so into baby food anymore. We love mashed potatoes, peas, applesauce and spaghetti O's, to name a few!

Mommy has 5 days of school left! Yeah we can't wait! We also get to take our first plane ride in 2 weeks too, the next few weeks will be very exciting for us!

We just want to stand....

We love standing up right now. We will pull up to anything and everything. We have figured out how to fall down on butts but sometimes we are unsteady. We fall and bump our heads... Mommy and Daddy are officially going crazy because of this.

Mommy says sorry that it has taken her so long to post. She has started taking her Master's classes again and has been busy with that. She only has 13 more days of school left. Not that she is counting. Then she can spend the whole summer with us. Well and she will be taking another class. 2 classes this summer and then 3 more and she will be done! Yeah...she had to put things on hold because we surprised her! :)

Pulling Up

Well we had our 9 month appointment on Monday. Kendall weighs 21 lbs 4 oz and is 29 1/4 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for weight and the 95th percentile for length. Katelynn weighs 19 lbs 2 oz and is 29 inches long. She is in the 55th percentile for her weight and the 90th percentile for her length. The doctor says we are growing very nicely and doing well.

We are both crawling and pulling up to everything! Yikes this makes Mommy and Daddy very nervous, as we have already hit our heads numerous times.

We still only have 2 teeth.

We are gated into the family room...although this is not going to last long..we are already pulling up on the gate!

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were very hot here. We were going to go swimming for the first time, but it started raining!
